There is no more effective marketing than having a friend, coworker, family member, neighbor or somebody else respected recommend your service. Influence marketing is growing in prominence, but much of the targeting is aimed very high, at people with large followings and influence. But, using those influencers as a starting point and moving down the chain to influencers closer to the customers is the way to go.
You can use social media to find the “mid-level influencers” who can in turn influence those that are close to your customers. Those influencers become the word-of-mouth influencers that truly make a difference in your marketing results.
