A decade ago, storytelling on almost any media worked really well. We were captive audiences. We couldn’t jump forward and skip commercials on TV. We got much of our news from papers. We weren’t glued to smart phones.

Today, the audience we’re trying to reach isn’t captive. He does a quick survey and finds that 70% of the audience is annoyed when they receive a phone call. We are in control of our time and don’t really tolerate interruptions very well.
So, when we live in a time when everybody is online, but the majority have “digital ADD,” how do we use storytelling in our marketing and get results that help us grow our businesses?
