What Are The Biggest Challenges To Small Business Survival?

Starting a small business is risky.  They frequently fail.  They often eat all of their owners time.

The infographic below highlights some interesting information about small businesses and why they either thrive or dive.

Notice the top reason for failure:  lack of experience.  Many entrepreneurs start a business with a few superb skills that they can use to deliver value to their clients.  What they typically lack is the experience and knowledge of how to build a business around those skills.

A number of the reasons for failure can be tracked to ineffective marketing and sales.  If a business isn’t selling, it isn’t going to last.

Check out the infographic below, its eye-opening.  While these are big problems, fortunately the solution isn’t inaccessible.

The free handbook on the right will help you if marketing is a challenge.  Given that revenue is often the leading problem for a small business, I’ve decided to give these handbooks away to help small business owners with their marketing!

If you’d like to know how to accumulate the knowledge and experience necessary to see your business thrive, check out my offer (free) here:  how to make your business thrive.

Thanks Michael, I've touched on the subject of putting together the components of a marketing effort, but it might be time to revisit from the beginning and review the entire flow. Thanks for the idea - it helps ensure that I'm delivering articles that are of use!

How true this is, knowing what to do and how to marketing are what frustrate me most. Can you tell me a bit about your offer?
