Thanks Niveen – I use it as 70% original content, 20% shared content that is valuable to your readers and 10% content that is anything related to sales.

Michael, like the infographic. Is 2% talking about this the industry standard? I’m curious to hear where that number came from.

Zeb, great question! Admap analyzed the top 200 brands on FB and found an average engagement of under .5%, 10% of pages at 1% or greater and only 1 above 2%. It seems like a stretch goal in light of these numbers, but those are brands with millions of followers and small and mid-sized businesses can best those numbers and get great engagement going.
Hope that helps – it’s obviously one that can be moved a bit based on circumstance, but just having that in mind can help drive a FB strategy.
